NTRC to host signing ceremony for execution of USF contracts

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will be having a ceremony for the signing of contracts to execute their fifth, sixth and seventh projects under the Universal Service Fund (USF) in St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}} The Universal Service Fund contract for the Maritime Maintenance project will also be signed.

These projects will facilitate the necessary infrastructure and platforms at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College to enable them to offer its existing courses/programmes online and in real time. The wireless broadband internet access at all Police Stations and Health Centres in St Vincent and the Grenadines will be improved and the access to wireless internet services at the community level will be increased.

The ceremony will take place at the at the NIS Training Room, located on the 1st floor of the NIS Building on November 20, at 9 a.m. and will see the feature address being delivered by Dr Jerrol Thompson/Director of Special Projects, Office of the Prime Minister.
