Tree Bar and Grill crowns 2018 inter- house Karaoke champ

POPULAR ENTERTAINMENT spot in St Vincent, The Tree Bar and Grill hosted its second annual inter-house karaoke competition finals on Monday, December 17.

The competition featured the musical talent of Vincentian karaoke singers from various popular bars across the country. This year’s competition received participation from over 16 bars. And participants vied for the bragging rights, up to $1,500 cash and the grand prize trophy. Third placed was last year’s Champion, Noveisha Toney of Keisha’s Bar, Second was secured by Patrika Foye of Little Angel’s bar and Rockwell Kydd of Ice and Spice Bar claimed the grand title.

General manager at Tree bar, Tamra Antrobus expressed happiness to have hosted the successful Karaoke competition for a second consecutive year.

“Karaoke is loved by many Vincentians and is offered as an added attraction at several bars. The idea to host the event was not only to compete but to also shine the spotlight on the strength of Karaoke in St Vincent.”

Thirty-two participants sang at the semi-final round and 16 progressed to the final round of the competition. Tree bar and Grill continues to play an active role in the social and entertainment development in St Vincent. The bar and grill promises to host more reward based competitions in the near future.
