Police present scholarships and bursaries to 78 students
THE ROYAL STVINCENT and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), on Thursday, August 13, 2026 handed out scholarships and bursaries to 78 students who will enter secondary schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year at a ceremony held under the theme: “Celebrating Achievements: Learning, Growing and Succeeding”.
The annual scholarship presentation ceremony, held at the New Testament Church,Wilson Hill, Kingstown was jointly hosted by the RSVGPF, the SVG Ex-Police Association, and the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Police Co-operative Credit Union and saw attendance by the student recipients along with parents, guardians and well-wishers, a release from the RSVGPF states.
It continued a long-standing tradition of supporting the educational development of children of serving and former police officers, the release adds.
Hannah Green-Harry who represented the Ministry of Education, congratulated the recipients and reminded them that success extends beyond grades, qualifications and professional status. She encouraged the students to remain curious, embrace challenges and use their education to contribute positively to their families, communities and the country.
