VincyKlus/Valkelly collaborate forSummer Baking Class for Kids

Come August 13-17 children will be heating up the kitchen at the North Union Learning Resource Centre in a “Summer Baking Class for Kids!”

The programme will cater to 30 children between ages 8 and 12. It is a collaborative initiative between VincyKlus Inc. and one of its members – Valkelly Investments.

This summer programme will seek to introduce and equip children with basic skills in baking various treats such as cakes and pastries that they love, while also using some locally produced ingredients in the process. It will also teach and bring children together to learn how to work in teams. The programme will run from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. daily.

VincyKlus Inc. is an agro-processing cluster established in 2008 under the CED Business Gateway Project that seeks to improve agricultural (rural households) livelihoods by strengthening linkages within the agri-business value chain and increasing return to agro-processors.

Valkelly Investments is a dynamic coconut oil manufacturing enterprise located at North Union that specializes in the production of natural flavoured coconut oils.
