Coreas Back to School winners receive prizes

The Coreas Stationery Department, located at the Pharmacy/Food Xpress in Kingstown, was buzzing on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 13, 2016. The excitement was created by the five lucky customers who came to receive their winnings from the Coreas Back to School promotion. They each received a tablet, as was advertised in the company’s promotion which started in early August.

The draw took place on Monday, September 12, at the store and the prizes were handed over by senior assistant and head of Stationery Catherine Wilson.

Store manager Jean Johnney Findlay, who also witnessed the handing over, stated “We usually have Back to School promotions each year, but this year we opted to do something different and more exciting, by offering our customers who spent $50 or more a 10 per cent discount, plus a chance to win one of five tablets.” She continued, “Children and adults are certainly gravitating towards the use of technology, so we believe by offering these tablets we would be encouraging them to continue on this path.”

The winners were Janella Prescott, Derrion Glynn, Samoa Richards, Euon Thomas and Donnie Collins. They all expressed much happiness and appreciation to Coreas Hazells Inc for giving them the opportunity to participate in the promotion which allowed them to become eventual winners.
