Winners of Friends of AIA raffle receive prizes

The winners of the raffle organized by the Friends of Argyle International Airport New York were recently presented with their prizes.

The raffle, which was held to raise funds to assist with the construction of the Argyle International Airport, was drawn at the recent Vincy Day USA 2016.{{more}}

This year’s first place winner, Jeanett Ferdinand, gets round trip airfare to SVG, plus four days accommodation at the Young Island Resort, while second placed Anselma Ambris is the lucky recipient of a 55” smart TV sponsored by Standard Shippers. The third place cash prize of $500 went to Cynthia Mc Farlane.

Co-chair of the group Alf Phillips expressed the organization’s gratitude to Fessie Yorke of Standard Shippers Inc, persons who purchased tickets, the sellers and all who continue to assist the group in their endeavour to raise funds to contributing towards the development of SVG.
