Coreas Hazells Inc agreed to offer a scholarship to an outstanding student from that school who emerged from the 2016 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) with excellent grades.

The scholarship for a one-year period only will see the recipient, Sachi Gabriel, receiving $1,200. She placed in the number two spot in terms of the school’s performance. The number one spot was awarded a scholarship from another organization based in the USA.

Marketing coordinator at Coreas Hazells Inc Ezzie Roberts visited the school, where he held discussions with the school’s head teacher, Sachi’s class teacher, her mother and the student herself.

When asked about her thoughts on the exam, Sachi stated, “At times it appeared to be very easy, but some of the areas were a bit more challenging.”

Her mother, Winnifred Gabriel, expressed much gratitude as she stated, “I am quite happy that Coreas Hazells Inc has offered this scholarship and my daughter is the one receiving it.”

Head teacher of the school Samuel Holder was quite pleased with the assistance given by Coreas, as he is of the opinion that it is important to reward students who do well.

Sachi Gabriel will be enrolled at the Girls’ High School, having placed 60th by her gender and 125th overall.

Coreas Hazells Inc takes this opportunity to congratulate all students who were successful in the 2016 CPEA.
