PCCU, PWA assists ailing police Sergeant
One of the social responsibilities of a credit union is to assist its members in making their standard of living the best possible. Following through on this principle, the Police Cooperative Credit Union (PCCU) has embarked on a joint fund raising activity with the Police Welfare Association (PWA) to assist one of its members who has been ailing as a result of renal failure.{{more}}
Sgt 323 Roban has been a police officer for the past 28 years. He was enlisted in the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force on July 10, 1987. He has worked in various departments within the Police Force and districts throughout the island.
The PCCU is proud to have donated $1000 to the PWA which had a successful barbecue on June 10 to raise funds for Sgt. Roban. These funds will go directly to offsetting some of Sgt. Robanâs medical expenses. Anyone who will like to assist Sgt. Roban in meeting his medical expenses can contact the Police Welfare Association office at Central Police.
