âWe donât solicit muchâ¦but we kind of reaching out to see how much assistance we can get in terms of getting our message out.
âWe realize that we need more help from the wider public in terms of organizing and mediaâ¦so our shows will likely be bigger and better,â James said during a visit to SEARCHLIGHT last Wednesday.
The tour, which ended on Saturday at the Questelles Community Centre, according to James, has built the character of the boys: Marc, Zachary and Seth.
âWhen we started there wasnât much people at the first show, but we guarantee you every show got a little bit better. And that is what we are trying to show the boys, we want them to remember when they were in a hall and there was nobody, versus when it is full,â he noted.
He added that it has been amazing seeing how the boys have grown through this tour.
The proud father stated that even though there was little advertising, he was impressed how with each show, the crowds got bigger and bigger.
James told SEARCHLIGHT he was trying to instil in the boys that it takes more than one thing to be leader and that no matter what position you are in, one must always work hard.
âFor one to be a great leader you have to be a great follower and we think that traditionally if someone was intelligent, or a musician, you get to do the least work.
âWe think itâs about time that you have the talented people in the countryâ¦they have to really show the people who are less talented, or who are looking up to them, that thereâs nothing wrong with being⦠a politician, or a great musician, but you can still be a farmer and be an entertainerâ¦,â James added.
The boys will be performing at Miss SVG and Uncle Skinnyâs Kids Carnival.
James noted that while the boys are Christians, he sees no problem with them performing at Miss SVG, because he believes that it does not determine who the boys are.
âWe think that you could reach more people that way, if people can see that you could adapt to different situations.â
