Not only are the young contestants all gifted and beautiful, they also provided articulate responses when questioned about some of our country’s most troubling current challenges: high levels of sex crimes against our children, public access to all beaches, high levels of high school dropouts and teen pregnancies, and how to best address robbery of tourists and breaking and entering of properties.

Spectators found the pageant thought-provoking as well as entertaining.

Locals and visitors alike enjoyed lots of local Mayreau and other Grenadines talent, showcased between the segments of the pageant.

In addition to impressive dance routines and vocal performances, there was a mini fashion show, featuring local creativity.
