The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Macmillan Publishers, successfully conducted three hours of training for primary school teachers in Health and Family Life Education.

Daily attendance ranged from 35 – 40 teachers from schools across St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}} Both the facilitators and the participants expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the programme. Teachers have pledged to adopt as part of their practice the new strategies that they have learnt to make the teaching and learning of Health and Family Life Education more interactive and more functional for students.
