Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has extended condolences and sympathy to the Johnson Family of Spring Village, on behalf of the Government and people of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
This follows the tragic vehicular accident last Sunday, at Coulls Hill, in which three members of a family {{more}}lost their lives.
The Prime Minister is currently attending an OECS heads of government meeting in Grenada.
According to a release from communications consultant Elson Crick, the Prime Minister intends to visit the family of the bereaved, following his return to the state today, Tuesday, June 30.
Prime Minister Gonsalves has said âit is times like these that we need the love and support of the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Let us lift them up in our prayers and be in solidarity with the Johnson family.â
Those persons who lost their lives are George Johnson, age 89, Icilma Venola Johnson Ollivierre, age 65 and Denzil Johnson age 22, all of Spring Village.
Two other persons, Kemral Williams, age 24, said to be the driver of the vehicle, and Neville Charles, age 45, were hospitalized as a result of the accident. Williams is at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, while Charles has since been released from the Chateaubelair Health Centre.
