The event, which pays tribute to the students who sat both Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) and Caribbean Examinations Council/ Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CXC/CSEC) at the last sitting, was first introduced in 2002, with LIME coming on board for the past eight years.

Through its sponsorship, LIME has ensured that the trophies, plaques and gifts for the students and schools are available for the presentation, as well as the preparation and decoration of the Methodist Church Hall, and refreshments, among other areas.

The relationship between LIME and the Ministry of Education has grown from strength to strength, and this is evident from the company’s continued sponsorship of events conducted by the Ministry, for example the National Secondary Schools Public Speaking competition, in conjunction with the Lions Club, the Inter-Primary and Secondary Schools Athletics Championships.

The Ministry of Education has expressed its profound gratitude to LIME for its commitment over the years to the hosting of the National Awards, and looks forward to its continued unwavering commitment.

LIME wishes the ministry of Education the best in its endeavour to uphold the high standard of education in St Vincent and the Grenadines, and articulates its pledge to support the nation’s Education Revolution.
