Bishop’s College joins winners
A student of the Bishopâs College Kingstown, Jaria Peters, is the first from her school to win a prize in the Secondary School Bible Quiz. Peters won the January, 2015 Quiz, making the Bishopâs College the 20th school to be among the winners.{{more}}
In presenting the award on Monday, February 9, Joel Jack, quiz organizer, indicated that over the years, there have been close to 50 entries from the Bishopâs College, but it is the first time someone has won. He outlined the rationale for the SSBQ and explained the variety of annual awards that are on offer. He appealed for more students to participate in the quiz regularly.
In addition to the regular monthly prize, a ticket each will be given to two participants in the February Quiz to attend the Karen Hindsâ Phenomenal Woman Conference TEEN EDITION on Friday, April 10.
