Guardian General rebrands to ‘Guardian Group’

Guardian General Insurance Limited (GGIL), which trades as NEMWIL in St Vincent and the Grenadines, rebranded to ‘Guardian Group’ effective Friday, October 31, 2014. Guardian Group is the new single brand of the Guardian Holdings Limited group of companies, which operates across the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean under such market leaders as Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited (“GLOC”) and Guardian General Insurance Limited (“GGIL”).{{more}} Guardian Group through GGIL is a major player in the general insurance market in St Vincent and the Grenadines, underwriting the following classes of insurance business: Property, Motor, Liability, Accident, and Marine.

The Guardian Group brand was launched in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica and the Dutch Caribbean in July 2013. St Vincent and the Grenadines is the eighth of 10 such rebrand exercises that will take place across the Eastern and Northern Caribbean in 2014.

In the past year, Guardian Group embarked on a major strategic initiative and rebranded all its subsidiaries across the English and Dutch Caribbean.
