Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves told members of the media on Monday that he has authorized for more money to be given to the maintenance company.

“We need some more money at BRAGSA, so I gave instructions this morning to the director general of Finance and Planning …to have the process go through,” he revealed.

“The engineers have been busy doing the design of the bridges and will be starting pretty shortly, both in relation to the bailey bridges and the other bridges themselves. As you remember, we have something like 12,14 bridges which were damaged.”

Additionally, the Prime Minister indicated that Mexico and Ecuador are interested in facilitating the rebuilding of bridges in St Vincent and the Grenadines.(BK)
