Parliament to debate 2014 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure at next sitting

The Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 2014 will be debated in Parliament on Tuesday, December 10, beginning at 9 a.m.{{more}}

When Parliament met on Monday, December 2, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr Ralph Gonsalves said the Estimates had been sent to the government printery for printing last Saturday morning and he had been advised that they will be available for distribution on the morning of Wednesday, December 4.

The Finance Committee will meet on Monday, December 9, the Prime Minister also said.

He said Parliament will be prorogued this week, and when the Estimates are laid next week, the new session of Parliament will resume.

The address and debate on the 2014 Budget will take place in January.
