A release from the organizers says the programme enhances family life and equips parents and caregivers to cope with the challenges of parenting and helps to build long-lasting fulfilling relationship between parent/caregiver and the child.

The sessions were conducted through a participatory process and included presentations, questions and answers, skits and group work. This training was done by facilitator Merle Bailey, over a three-month period.

The participants expressed their gratitude for the programme, especially for the knowledge and skills gained.

The graduation ceremony took place during Divine Worship at the St Paul’s Anglican Church, on February 3.

The release said an invitation is extended to persons to be part of the next leg of the programme which begins in March 2013.
