Prince William, wife visit Mustique

Prime Minster Dr Ralph Gonsalves this weekend had tea in Mustique with heir to the throne of Great Britain, Prince William and his wife Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, SEARCHLIGHT has learnt.{{more}}

The royal couple, expecting their first child in July this year, arrived on the Grenadine island of Mustique on Thursday and met with Gonsalves on Saturday, during their one week stay at the Aurora House.

The couple was accompanied by Kate’s parents Mike and Carole, and her siblings Pippa and James, at the approximately $20 million villa, equipped with its own private cinema, a 64-foot infinity pool and a six-member staff.

Mustique, a getaway for the rich and famous, was made popular by the prince’s aunt Princess Margaret, who frequented the island in the 1970s.

When the couple returns to the United Kingdom, the prince is due back at his north Wales base, from where he flies search-and-rescue helicopters, while the duchess is scheduled to visit a drug treatment centre in London that is run by one of the charities she supports, Action on Addiction.
