In an exciting encounter at the Sion Hill venue, it took a super over for La Croix to overcome Marriaqua, after both scores were level from the 20 overs.

Batting first, Marriaqua made 121 for 8 from their 20 overs.  Orlando Lavia hit 27, while Norman Robinson took 2 for 12.

La Croix’s response was 121 for 4 from their 20 overs. Raymond Ryan made 36 and Patrick Thomas, 20.

Leading La Croix’s bowling was Grantley “Ipa” Constance, who had 2 for 8.

Marriaqua could only manage 85 for 7 from their 20 overs.

And, North Leeward got past Pastures by 77 runs at Buccament.

Orville Franklyn’s 71 and Orlando Charles’ 40 combined to see North Leeward to 158 for 8 from 17 overs, three short of the maximum, because of rain.

Pastures’ best bowler was Ardon Hall, with 3 for 38.

Reginald Jeffrey scalped 4 for 23 and Ancil Hooper, 3 for 16, sending Pastures packing for 81 off 14.1 overs.
