Saints defeated Victors One by 10 wickets at Arnos Vale One.

Victors One, electing to bat, made 193 all out. Norlan Williams, batting at number 10, let the willow talk, as he belted 59, inclusive of eight sixes. Williams shared in a 10th wicket partnership of 59, with Shaquille Browne, who compiled 35. Browne creamed five fours and a six in his knock. Miles Bascombe struck 37, higher up the order.

Rolando Wright grabbed 4 for 57 and Ray Charles 3 for 18, bowling for Saints, who then responded with 264 all out.

Sunil Ambris missed out on triple figures, as he made 96. His knock saw him measuring seven fours, one five, one six and 10 twos. Jerron John, who is finally coming into his own, hit 63, in which he slammed six fours and three sixes.

Bowling for Victors One, Norlan Williams, who paced then resorted to spin, took 4 for 121; Shaquille Browne had 2 for 18 and Donwell Hector 2 for 43.

With the match heading for a draw, Victors One made a match of it, as some careless batting saw them being dismissed for 107.

Rolando Wright 5 for 43, Romel Currency 3 for 9 and Damaul Phillips 2 for 18, bagged the wickets.

Saints then rushed to 38 without loss, to gain full points.

At the nearby Arnos Vale Two venue, Team Rivals defeated The News Spartans by eight wickets, to go three wins from as many matches.

Team Rivals, batting first, scored 148 all out; Harley Skerritt made 31. Gidron Pope snared 4 for 38.

But Spartans were shot out for 48, undone by Olanzo Jackson’s 6 for 6 in 9.3 overs, of which five were maidens. Roniel Jeffrey chipped in with 3 for 31.

Asked to follow on, Spartans fared better, making 157 all out. Gidron Pope led with 37.

Olanzo Jackson picked up 3 for 5, Roniel Jeffrey 2 for 19 and Casmond Walters, 2 for 55, came in for some beating from Rolando Coombs. Team Rivals then scored 58 for 2. Roniel Jeffrey was 26 not out.

And, at Sion Hill, Lime Radcliffe waltzed past Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO by an innings and 57 runs.

ASCO never recovered after being bundled out for 58, as Dyke Cato snatched 7 for 22 and Barbadian off spinner Jomel Warrican, 3 for 18.

Radcliffe replied with 183. Lindon James slammed 105 not out.

Bowling for ASCO, Andre Hunte had 3 for 59 and Deron Greaves 2 for 41.
