Marriage is between a MAN and a WOMAN!

Editor: The recent Supreme Court ruling in favour of ‘same-sex marriage’ in all 50 states of America is a striking reminder that religious liberty is under attack. A few puny men, sitting in a courtroom have sought to determine moral destiny of a nation by passing an immoral law which defies the order of The Great Legislator of the Universe – The Creator-God. Now, Christians and other conscientious persons will face growing persecution for their stance against sodomy and for exercising their moral preference.{{more}}

Not too long ago, a baker in Colorado, USA was ordered by the court to bake cakes for same-sex couples against his God-given conscience. This arose from his refusal to bake a wedding cake for a sodomite couple in 2012. The Supreme Court has now created a situation where similar anti-conscience rulings will be more widespread!

Although gay ‘rights’ activists worldwide believe that they have gained a victory, the records of heaven and the annals of history chronicle the ruling as one of the darkest, God-insulting moments in history. God is not pleased with the decision and it is only a matter of time before He responds with judgements similar to His hot wrath that He poured out on Sodom and Gomorrah thousands of years ago. Time has not changed His sentiments towards the unnatural, sexual deviant behaviour of sodomy. It remains an abomination. No amount of argument, no court ruling, no Obama support and no street march can change God’s position on homosexuality. “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” “Be not deceived, neither fornicators…nor abusers of themselves with mankind…shall inherit the kingdom of God” (Leviticus 18:22; 1Corinthians 6:9, 10).

There is also the continuing flawed argument that same-sex ‘marriage’ is a right that should be granted homosexuals by the government. We must, however, remember that the state or government cannot give rights. Human beings everywhere are endowed with inalienable rights and freedoms by their Creator. These endowments are life-sustaining, behavioural codes of equality under law and do not cause harm to anyone. Since homosexuality does not and cannot fall under the above, then it is not a right. In fact, it is a wrong condemned by the Giver of rights. Same-sex ‘marriage’ is simply an obscene provinity or an immoral opportunity provided by the state to two persons of the same gender. This provision is unfortunate though, since the government’s duty is to make decisions that would uphold the rights and freedoms of all.

Although the God-defying attempts to define marriage are continuing worldwide, marriage remains a God-given and therefore sacred institution. It is exclusively a union between a Man and a Woman – the only two genders (male and female) created by God. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh,” Genesis 2:24.

I call on all homosexuals and their sympathizers to repent and allow Jesus Christ to radically change you – your sinful thoughts, emotions and actions. God is able to wash you thoroughly from all of your iniquities. There is nothing too hard for the Great and Mighty God of all flesh to do. He made the heaven and the earth. He heals the broken-hearted, the sick, blind, deaf etc. He is able to renew your heart by His grace and teach you the right way. Would you allow Him? Would you make the right choice today? I pray you do.
