Luxury hotel to launch on Bequia next month

One of the Caribbean’s most anticipated new luxury hotels is set to launch next month. 

Situated on Bequia, ‘The Liming’ will officially open on November 15, introducing a new concept of relaxation to ‘the island in the cloud’.

Managed by world-renowned and multi award winning Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI), the new destination will offer escapists the chance to experience life a little differently as a largely unknown Caribbean concept ‘liming’ is introduced to the world.

Influenced by the serenity of nature, guests at The Liming will be immersed in an experience shaped by the philosophy that doing nothing is an art form. Whether guests choose to partake in a little relaxation while soaking amongst the bright Caribbean colours in a private infinity pool, or dine at the hotel’s exclusive restaurant set above the roof of the Caribbean Sea, with 360 views of the island, everything at the luxury resort has been carefully considered to provide guests with the freedom to just be.

Guests of The Liming can choose from 13 exquisitely designed private villas with one, two, four and five-bedroom available, set among the outstanding natural beauty of the island. 

Passing yachts will also have the chance to experience the hotel’s restaurant which will be overseen by award-winning chef Muskateen Sultan, to boast a tantalising choice of locally-sourced ingredients, and a menu including fresh island picked fruit, aromatic vegetables and ocean to table seafood served in bespoke ice troughs.

Reached by air or sea, Bequia’s closest connecting islands are Barbados, St Lucia and St Vincent. Prices per night start from $550 for a Junior Suite on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing.
