Gulf Insurance sponsors SVG Gospel Fest 2018

 

LOCAL INSURANCE COMPANY, Gulf Insurance Limited, is getting involved in the staging of this country’s premier gospel festival. Branch supervisor Michele Morthely handed over a check for $2,000, to Michael Peters, co-ordinator of SVG Gospel Fest, which will go towards the staging of the 2018 SVG National Gospel Showcase.

The 2018 festivities will officially climax this Sunday evening at the Victoria Park. The program will feature performances in song, dance and drama from some of the most outstanding artistes coming out of the zonal showcases held last weekend. Among persons scheduled to appear will be: Ekklesia Gospel Band, Jeneshia Kelly, Vermont Miracle Church Dancers, Warriors for Christ, Gospel Hall Dancers and Janet Jackson.

Special guests for that evening will be leading Caribbean gospel artiste Blessed Messenger of Trinidad, Second Chance of the USA and Vincentian cultural ambassador evangelist Bridget Blucher, who is celebrating 20 years in gospel ministry.

The 2018 Digicel SVG Gospel Festival is being celebrated under the theme: “A Glorious Celebration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ”. The festival is into its 16th year.
