New Testament Convention to be held in Chateaubelair

The Chateaubelair District of the New Testament Church of God, St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and St Lucia, will host the church’s Quarterly Convention on Sunday, May 13, 2016. The convention will take place at the Troumaca Secondary School hard court, under the theme “Go.” Convention start time is 10 a.m. The convention’s speaker will be the administrative bishop for SVG and St Lucia, Bishop B Wendell Davis.{{more}}

The New Testament Church of God is the oldest Pentecostal denomination in SVG, with evangelist Gladys Priam being one of its pioneer missionaries. The church celebrates its 76th anniversary this year, since it began to operate in SVG. The local head-quarters is at Wilson Hill, Kingstown, while the international headquarters is in Cleveland, Tennessee, USA. The Caribbean field director is Bishop Ishmael Charles and the general overseer is Dr Mark Williams.
