Currently, winnings in excess of $400.00 on all of the games of the NLA are taxed at the rate of 10 per cent.

A release from Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves said the tax will be removed because the Government is “cognizant of the importance of the NLA to sports and culture in St Vincent and the Grenadines….”

The release also said that a new game, Pick 4, will be launched by the NLA on November 1, 2014.
