Court remands 69-year-old man for indecent assault of an eight-year-old girl
A 69-year-old Redemption Sharpes man is on remand at Her Majestyâs Prison after being charged with abduction of an eight-year-old girl.{{more}}
Raphael Williams, a mason, appeared at the Family Court on Tuesday, January 22 and was not allowed to plead to the indictable charge.
The charge read that Williams was arrested and charged with using force to compel an eight-year-old female to go from North River Road to a nearby house and indecently assaulting her, a girl under the age of 15 on January 21.
Despite being granted $8,000 bail with one surety, no one came to sign his bail bond.
