Tropical wave affecting the islands – SVG Met

The SVG Meteorological Services (SVG Met) has advised that a tropical wave is affecting the islands.

Weather conditions will be occasionally cloudy with light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Winds are ENE to E at 10 to 25 km/h (6 to 16 mph) with higher gusts near showers.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water with swells from 0.5 m to 1.5 m.

A flash flood advisory remains in effect. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be alert.
