‘Reckless’ drivers hit with fines and suspended licenses
THREE VAN DRIVERS who operate on the Leeward side of the mainland will have to look for another way to earn a living, at least for the next six months.
The three, apart from not being able to drive minivans or taxis for six months, also have to dig deep into their pockets to pay fines ordered by the court ranging between EC$2,000 and EC$2,500.
On Thursday June 11, 2026, Campden Park residents and van drivers Calbert Allick, Adolphus Harry, and Shakeem Williams, were taken before the Serious Offences Court and were convicted of dangerous driving stemming from an incident that took place along the Gibson Corner area of the Nelson Mandela Highway on June 5, 2026.
