Four win two-day Flow staycation

Thanks to Flow St Vincent/Columbus Communications, four persons will spend an all-expenses paid two-day vacation at the luxurious Buccama Bay Resort.

The staycation was given to Mekeel Brereton and Cassandra Duncan, the grand prize winners in Flow’s Valentine’s Day promotion, which was called ‘More to Love’ and ran from February 11 to March 31.{{more}}

By winning, Brereton and Duncan are afforded the hotel stay in which they are each allowed to bring along a friend.

On Wednesday at the Buccama Bay Resort, Marketing and Communications manager at Columbus Communications (St Vincent and the Grenadines) Limited Corey Garrett, accompanied by IT manager at Buccama Victor Hunte, handed over the prize to Brereton. Duncan who is from Bequia, was not present.

Brereton, a Belair resident, said that she felt extremely pleased about winning.

“Thank God, Flow and Buccama,” said Brereton, who added that when she received the telephone call saying that she had won the grand prize, she was a bit sceptical about the authenticity of the call.

“When I got the news, I was very surprised and I asked the young lady if she was sure, because it was All Fool’s Day (April 1),” said Brereton.

“I am so happy for this day, because I think I deserve it,” stressed Brereton, who revealed that a few days ago, her six-year-old son was involved in an accident and it made her feel helpless, so the prize has brought something positive to a hectic few days.

“I would like to say thank you very much for this gift and my weekend will be well spent,” said Brereton, who qualified for the grand prize draw after signing up for a Flow bundle (Video and broadband package).

She said that she signed up for the bundle to provide some entertainment for her son when he is at home.

Explaining the promotion, Garrett said that persons were entered in a random draw when they signed up for Flow’s broadband between February 11 and March 31. The grand prizes were two couples’ stay at Buccama, while other prizes saw five different persons taking home spa treatment packages and shopping vouchers.

Garrett said that the promotion was designed to engage new and existing customers to connect with loved ones by using Flow’s Internet.

Commenting at the handing over, Hunte said that Buccama was happy to team up with Flow.

“Thank you for considering us to be one of your partners where we can offer our product to persons,” said Hunte.
