The motion, which will be moved by Senator David Browne and seconded by Senator Elvis Charles, is also expected to call on the House to urge the Government to keep in close communion with the people as a whole, so as to enhance further “its sterling performance thus far”.

The senators are also expected to move and second a motion that the House of Assembly endorse the Government’s policy to further enhance private sector development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The move is expected to urge the Government to engage the private sector fully in this quest on an on-going basis.

The Order Paper for the day’s sitting states that the motion will be made against the backdrop that the ULP Government has as its established policy and practice facilitating further private sector development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, especially, but not exclusively, for the domestic private sector.

It is also being done on the Government’s expressed recognition that the private sector has played, and continues to play, a most significant role in the development of the economy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines
