CARICOM states move to establish CCJ

He also informed that the Jamaican Government is studying the ruling with a view to determining its options.

“This Item is certain to pre-occupy the Community’s Attorneys-General when they meet next week 10-11 February 2005 in Paramaribo, Suriname at the Legal Affairs Committee Meeting”, said the Secretary-General.

“In the meantime”, assured the Secretary-General “the CARICOM Secretariat will continue working towards the establishment of the Court, as scheduled.”
