Victors two schools Clico A Level College

The National Cricket Programme continued last weekend.

And, the separation process has begun to be more pronounced.

The highlight, though, was in the Bottlers First Division, as Victors Two defeated CLICO A level College outright.{{more}}

A Level College scored 139. Andel Prince struck 54. Kevin Abraham bagged 5 for 41 and Ray Jordan, 2 for 27. Victors Two replied with 126. Kutland Lavia made 43. Morrison Matthews had a handful and more, 6 for 53, but it was not enough. A’Level College, in their second innings, was dismissed for 109. John Williams topscored with 41. Abraham, also a national Under-23 footballer, was again among the wickets, with 5 for 27, to finish with match analysis of 10 for 68. Victors Two reached 123 for 2, with Lavia, 55, not out, and Javed Harry, 43, not out.

Also in the First Division, last year’s winner Log Enterprises Masters gained first innings points over Belmont.

Log Masters amassed 381 for 8 declared. Former St. Vincent and the Grenadines players Elvis Browne and Lynton Greaves made 71 and 62, respectively. Samuel Williams scored 56 and Peter Campbell, 53. Jerome Samuel took 3 for 43 and Augustus Mofford, 3 for 56.

Belmont was dismissed for 181, with Keiron Samuel making 79. Jimmy Sam had figures of 4 for 48 and Monty Sealey, 2 for 43. Batting a second time, Masters was 97 for 4, with Williams undefeated on 49.

And, in what was a major upset, Radcliffe Two took first innings points at the expense of Ruddy’s Electrical Unique Warriors.

Batting first, Unique Warriors posted 200. Desron Lavia, 64, and Jenry Ollivierre, 39, not out, being the principal scorers. Jabari Johnson took 4 for 35, Marcus Castello, 2 for 25, and Dudley Dublin, 2 for 46.

Radcliffe Two responded with 236. Johnson topscored with 46, Jeffery Pierre, 40. Extras also contributed 40 and Verbert King, 29. Samuel Byam, 3 for 32, Omari Jack, 3 for 44, and Jerome Jack, 2 for 40.

Lavia then hit a stroke filled century that included 8 fours and 9 sixes as he plundered an unbeaten 124 as Unique Warriors reached 229 for 6 in their second innings. Khalique Yorke, 45, and Lenroy Ryan, 40, enjoyed the carnage. Johnson, capping off a good match, took 2 for 64.

In the RBTT Premier Division, Irie Travel Packers gained first innings points over Police One in a drawn game. Police One made 70. Kesrick Williams snared7 for 21, Roneil Jeffrey, 2 for 18, and batting a second time reached 143. Ortwell John, 31, Maxiann Richardson, 23. Federal Jeffery, 5 for 53. and Roneil Jeffery, 3 for 17.

Packers scored 145 in their first innings. Calrick Ferdinand hit 37, Williams, 26, and Gerald Gould bagged 5 for 33, bowling for Police One.

Brenton Smith chipped in with 3 for 33.

Packers was tottering at 65 for 8, in their second innings, and staring defeat. Uroy Farrell bagged 4 for 24 and Oneil Thomas, 3 for 16, but they were unable to finish off the demolition job and gain a come from behind win.

But Police Two failed to fall in when the command was made for the start of play at the Stubbs Playing Field and lost by default to the News Spartans.(RT)
