SVG passports ranked 19th Globally
AS OF APRIL, 2026, the St.Vincent and the Grenadines passport is ranked 19th globally with a mobility score of 146–157 on the Henley Passport Index 2026, offering a mobility score and access to over 146 countries, which includes visa-free access to 100 destinations and visa-on-arrival for 40 others.
The Vincentian passport demonstrated significant strength over the past decade, rising from 38th place in 2006 to its current, highly ranked status, driven by increasing visa-free access.
Vincentian passport holders enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to approximately 157 destinations, including the EU, UK, and various Commonwealth nations.
It ranks among the stronger passports in the Caribbean, behind Barbados and the Bahamas.
This places it ahead of several larger countries, positioning it among the top-performing passports in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and the wider Caribbean region, the ranking organisation also revealed.
Considered a strong travel document, the St Vincent and the Grenadines passport provides wide-ranging access to popular destinations
in Europe, such as the Schengen Area, the United Kingdom, many Caribbean and South American nations, and various countries in Asia and Africa, with options for a visa on arrival.
Singapore remains at the top of the 2026 Henley Passport Index, with access to 192 countries, while those of several European and Asian countries ranked among the world’s most powerful passports.
The London-based global citizenship and residence advisory firm Henley & Partners Passport Index ranks 199 passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.
The index covers some 227 travel destinations and is based on data from the International Air Transport Association, or IATA, supplemented by analysis from Henley & Partners.
