Brianna’s death tears at Heartstrings

TRAGEDY TURNED ITS ugly face on the quiet island of Bequia Wednesday as a vehicular accident robbed twelve year old Brianna Viera of her once very active social life.

Police have launched an investigation into the accident in which they say Brianna was a passenger in the vehicle.

Reports are that the vehicle in which she was travelling with family members collided with a tree.

Brianna reportedly sustained injuries and was transported from Bequia to mainland St Vincent for emergency medical treatment, but was later pronounced dead.

News of her demise spread quickly online with tributes being posted with images which reflected the very active social life this St Joseph’s Convent Kingstown student lived.

There was a photo of her onstage at the Junior Calypso Monarch celebrating the win of her schoolmate who had copped the crown.

The Heartstrings Music Academy operated by violinist Samuel Toca posted a video of the music loving youngster rehearsing with the academy.

Brianna leaves to mourn her Parents Brian and Naddia Viera and the hundreds of friends who have been expressing consternation at her untimely demise.
