Opposition Leader says registering at NDP party office for road work is inappropriate
OPPOSITION LEADER Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has described as inappropriate, the decision by Government to call for people to register for the annual road cleaning program at New Democratic Party (NDP) constituency offices and not at government outlets.
This criticism came by way of the ULP’s Star Radio on Wednesday, one day after a Facebook profile with the name “Nigel Stephenson” and a photograph of Minister of Transport, Infrastructure, and Physical Planning and Parliamentary Representative for South Leeward Nigel “Nature” Stephenson asked people who were interested in taking part in the annual road cleaning program to register at his NDP constituency office in Campden Park last Wednesday and Thursday.
The Facebook post said, “All persons throughout South Leeward who are interested in working in summer road cleaning program are invited to register at the constituency office in Campden Park tomorrow Wednesday and Thursday 9. am to 12. noon.
