SVG names Swim Team for OECS Championships

TWENTY-SIX SWIMMERS have been listed by the St Vincent and the Grenadines Swimming Federation to represent the nation at the 34th OECS Swimming championships set for St Lucia from November 6 to 8, 2026, at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre.

The team was selected following the 2026 SVG Gallagher Nationals, held from August 27 to 30, at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Centre, Ratho Mill.

Among those named are Raya Adams, Sarai Williams, Zane Dabriel, Jace Thomas, Zyon Sealey-Nichols, Saige Jobe, Azalea Cox, Ira Hadley, Methuselah Mc Lean and Anthony George.

The other the selectees are Skylar Byron, Rayshana Boyce-Edwards, Saj Caesar, Bell Adams, Jadon Hamilton, Caghry Williams, Rhonyah Jack, Eltonique Leonard, Zariel Nelson, Hazen Dabriel,

Seth Byron, Matthew Ballah, and Tyler Robinson.

In addition to the athletes, the SVGSF has named Kyle Dougan and Alyssa Davis as the coaches, and Brian George, the Team Manager.

When the 33rd edition of the championships was staged here in St Vincent and the Grenadines in 2025, the host placed third with 1160.5 points, behind winners Grenada, and second placed St Lucia.
