The curtains came down on Secondary Schools Netball Tournament last Friday, at the Kingstown Netball Centre.{{more}}
The girls from the Bethel High School dominated the lasses from Central Leeward Secondary School in both the Junior and Senior Divisions.
In the junior encounter, the Bethel High School scored 31 of their 41 attempts while Central Leeward Secondary School could only muster 24 from their 43 attempts at goal.
In the senior encounter, a strong Bethel High School defence was accredited to their defeat of the Central Leeward Secondary School 44 to 36
Next on the agenda of the schoolsâ netball is the inaugural Primary School Netball Festival, which will be held on November 18, 20 and 22.The festival would be held in four zones: two on the Windward side of the island, one in a Central location and one on the Leeward side of the country.
The finals of the festival will be on November 22, at which time the award ceremony for both the secondary and primary schools would be held.
