Under-aged boys charged with knife possession
Two 15-year-old secondary school students were taken before the Serious Offences Court on Thursday, April 16, charged with possession of offensive 2026 weapons.
Because the boys are under-aged, the courtroom was cleared of media personnel to allow Chief Magistrate Colin John to deal with the juveniles “In Camera”.
SEARCHLIGHT was reliably informed that the boys were granted bail on their own recognizance and told when to return to court.
A source with knowledge of the situation told SEARCHLIGHT that the boys were involved in an altercation in school and the intervention by law enforcement found that each of them had knives.
