Police seize guns, ammunition, drugs and cash in Dorsetshire Hill bust

Two men are in custody after a successful police operation at Dorsetshire Hill, in which guns, ammunition, cocaine, cannabis and cash were seized.

A release from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said the operation, which took place on Saturday, February 18 led to the discovery and seizure of two 9mm pistols, twenty-nine rounds of 9mm ammunition, 9.4 grammes of Cocaine, 3896 grammes of Cannabis, and a quantity of cash in United States dollars and Euros.

According to the release, a party of Rapid Response Unit (RRU) and Narcotics personnel executed a search warrant at a home in Dorsetshire Hill which led to the discovery and seizure of the illegal items.

Kevin Jessop and Dennis Crosby were cautioned and detained pending further investigations into the matter.

Both men were later arrested and charged with Possession of Firearms and Ammunition without a license issued under the Firearms Act and Possession of a Controlled Drug.

Jessop and Crosby will appear at the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
