2018 summer trends

SUMMER is fast approaching so here is a list of our favourite trends.

Tassel earrings- For a while, statement earrings have taken a backseat to allow simple, minimal earrings to have their 15 minutes of fame. However, they’ve made their comeback in the form of tassel earrings. Like the name suggests, a tassel earring is basically a tassel i.e. a dangling ornament made by laying parallel a bunch of cords or threads of even length and fastening them at one end, attached to an ear piece which allows it to be worn as an earring.

They come in muted as well as vibrant colours, various lengths and shapes, and may be attached to bejewelled or even embroidered earrings.

Micro Bags and Skinny Cat-Eye Sunglasses – Oversized day time bags are still fashionable, but micro bags are a cute finish to a night time look. Skinny cat-eye sunglasses have also temporarily replaced big framed sunglasses. Personally, I think they complement a narrow face with sharp bone structures best.

Gloss – The matte lipstick trend which has dominated makeup looks for the past two years or so is on the decline. Glossy lips are definitely trending again and by extension so is glitter/sparkly lip-gloss.
