Taking God to work

Communication Skills

Remember this one when you are about to gossip or speak unkindly of a co-worker:

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29.

Customer Service

When customers get annoying or you don’t feel like working because it’s Friday afternoon, read this: “Whatever you do, you are to work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men…. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23

Management

Managers and supervisors must remember they are not superior beings. Instead, they are servants who should be dedicated to bringing out the best in their employees: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. . . . Mark 10:45

People Skills

For those who are not able to get along with select co-workers:

“And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven YOU.” Ephesians 4:32
