Dear Darda, our beloved Darda
Some things may remind me
I cannot say just when
It can be something someone says
And it all flows back again
The way u rocked and hummed and shook ur feet,
The quick respectful wave to those you’d greet,
That boomin’, rich laughter you’d let out,
Are cherished memories, without a doubt.
Your seven sons still wonder why
Your two daughters dream of you and cry.
Your grands and great grands insist” He was the best”
And mama Norms says, “I miss him so, in peace he’ll rest.
Our dear Darda so honest, kind and wonderful,
When God made you He broke the mold,
And though thru death we are apart
No one will ever fill that place in our heart
