Donnie had a heart of gold

I first met Donnie in 1987 when I won my first national senior Table Tennis title still being a junior.

Donnie had a heart of gold. He was always willing to assist in any way possible for the young Table Tennis players to improve their game.

I am a living product of his golden heart.

Donnie as President of the SVG Table Tennis Association and the National Olympic Committee didn’t just support players on the table, he offered them educational opportunities through sports. Today, I am a university certified coach because of Donnie.

St Vincent and the Grenadines has lost an icon, a champion of the under privileged in sports and a great humanitarian.

Rest in Peace Mr. President.
