Student athletes give back
SEVERAL STUDENT athletes emerging from the System Three Sports Academy, who have been the beneficiaries of scholarships to earn an education and play Football in the USA and those on the verge of doing so, have ensured they pass on their talents.
Hence, they utilized four weeks of their July/ August vacation to teach young and upcoming footballers of the Academy the basics of the sport, soft skills, as well as other life skills.
Apart from Football, the attendees were given opportunities to socialize and bond; and in keeping with its holistic development, the participants of the camp were given certificates and tokens as they head off to start the 2026/2027 academic year.
Transitioning from Saints Football Club, the System Three Club began in 1997 and evolved into the System Three Academy which serves as a platform for developing athletes while supporting their educational future.
Holistically, the System Three Sports Academy for over a decade now, has been responsible for seeking out scholarship opportunities for their members and provides other forms of support. It is commonplace for the Academy to provide support to students who enter secondary schools, aiding them with bursaries and school supplies.
This is accomplished with assistance from the System Three branch in NewYork, USA.
System Three Academy student-athletes benefit from a dual focus on athletic development and academic support, with tangible assistance like bursaries, supplies, and recognition to help them transition smoothly to secondary education.
The System three Sports Academy is the brain child of Ian Sardine.
