Vincentian Archers to make regional debut in Barbados

The Archery Association of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG)is preparing to send archers to three regional events later this year for the first time thus breaking new ground.

Firstly, a duo of masters archers will be participating at the National Senior Games in Barbados from September 25-27, 2026.

This will be the landmark entry for Vincentian archers who will be taking their skill for the first time beyond the shores of SVG.

Thereafter, a contingent of 10 archers, along with a coach will travel to Guyana to be part of the Caribbean Development Champions and the Caribbean Championships.

Both events will run concurrently from October 22- 25, 2026.

Participation is being made possible by an input from the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), Air Adelphi Ltd., and other kind donors, the Archery Association said.
