Swimmers splash off in National Championships at Shrewsbury Pool
Four days of competition- Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, are the dates for the St Vincent and the Grenadines Swimming Federation’s 2026 National Swimming Championships at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Centre, Ratho Mill.
Yesterday, August 27 and today, August 28, the sessions begin at 6:00 p.m and shifts to a 10:00 a.m start on Saturday and another at 6:00 p.m. On the final day, Sunday, competition begins at 11:00 a.m as the quest for individual titles and overall winners are at stake. Also, the competitors will be aiming for national selection.
The Blue Marlins Swim Club, Black Sands Swim Squad, and H20 Lions would be bidding to be crowned national champions. They will have competition from guests- Antigua and Barbuda as well as Grenada, as sub-regional swimmers would be part of the championships.
Blue Marlins are the defending champions.
