Ty Clarke inks multi- year professional Football contract
ST VINCENT and the Grenadines Under-20 football captain and senior player- Tyrique Clarke has signed a multi- year professional contract with Inter Toronto Football Club of Canada.
The 18-year-old Clarke is the latest graduate of the Inter Toronto Pathway to earn a long-term place in the First Team.
Accordingly, the agreement guarantees Clarke through the 2028 Canadian Premier League season, and includes club options for 2029 and 2030.
Clarke, who resided in Paul’s Avenue, Kingstown, represented System Three Academy before migrating to Canada.
After moving to Canada, he joined the Toronto FC Academy for two seasons, then progressed to Toronto FC’s U-18 team and also earned opportunities to train with Toronto FC II during the 2024-25 season.
Speaking on the Canadian Premier League (CPL) website, Clarke, in response to inking the deal said, “My goal is to keep working every day and, whenever I get an opportunity, make the most of it”.
