Twelve teams seek SEDI Football honours
TWELVE TEAMS, STASHED into two groups, are seeking honours in the 2026 edition of the competition that kicked off on Sunday, August 2, at the Stubbs Playing Field.
They are defending champions Fun Size System Three; Brighton Star Blocks; Formula; Ball Rollers; Legenz; and Glenside Ball Blazers making up Group A.
In Group B are Police; Computec One Experience; Nature Boyz; Ball Rollers; Je Belle; Team T Village Ballers; and Twin Ballers.
Delron Sandy and Renson Sayers scored for Brighton, while Aeron Collis replied for System Three. Team T Village Ballers beat Police 3-1, with Victor Reid, Malcolm Stewart and Mozranny Harry scoring one goal apiece. Rahju Benjamin scored the lone for Police.
Tuesday’s fixture resulted also in a 3-1 win for One Experience over Nature Boyz.
Roddy Thompson, Curlon Joseph and Joevanny Enville each scored for One Experience, and for Nature Boyz- Cheslon Hendrickson was the goal scorer.
Joining the early winners was Glenside Ball Blazers who saw off Legenz 2- nil.
Anthony Hazell and Joeniel Swift found the nets.
Matches in the league will be played daily, with a few exceptions.
