Glendon James scores a ton in TBPO Softball Cricket

Greiggs Young Stars’ batter Glendon ‘Two Shoes’ James struck 104 not out, on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Dauphine Playing Field, to highlight the weekend of matches in the National Lotteries Authority TBPO 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition.

Playing against Sion Hill Tallawahs, James’ knock was the fulcrum of his team’s total of 180 for 4 from their 20 over, batting first. He was assisted by

Delano Woodley, who made 35.

Bowling for Sion Hill Tallawahs, Alex Roberts picked up 2 for 28.

In reply Sion Hill Tallawahs made 96 all out in 9.5 overs, with Shamic Roberts’ 19 being the top scorer.

Isron Joseph 2 for 12, and Keno Matthews 2 for 19, were Greiggs Young Stars’ most successful bowlers.

Match two on Saturday resulted in a four wicket win for Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble against AIA Reload.

AIA Reload posted 146 for 7 in 20 overs. Jerando Jardine made 35 not out, and Ian Gonsalves 32, as Travis Cumberbatch reeled off 3 for 22 and Asif Hooper had 2 for 34, bowling for Out Ah Trouble.

Jabari Cunningham 27 not out, Mickel Mapp 23, and Stein Joseph 22, steered Out Ah Trouble to 150 for 6 in 14 overs.

Bowling for AIA Reload, Adolph Adams scalped 2 for 19, and Ian Gonsalves 2 for 54.

Then on Sunday, RS Production Kombat Warriors won by nine wickets over Fairbaine United Old Prink, undone by Kamal Jackson who had 2 for 10 and Ezvert Jacobs, 2 for 11.

Kombat Warriors reached 64 for 1 in 5 overs; Kamara Browne made 29 not out.

It was more woes for another outfit from the same locale, as Fairbaine United lost to Dauphine United by 59 runs.

Dauphine United scored 125 all out in 13.4 overs with Kemani Thomas scoring 29. Christon Williams picked up 3 for 13, Anthonio Barker 3 for 29, and Cody Dabreo had 2 for 16, bowling for Fairbaine United.

However, Fairbaine United was upended for 66 in 10.3 overs. Christon Williams 21 and Cody Dabreo 20 were the main scorers.

Bowling for Dauphine United, Nicholas Holder snared 4 for 6 and MacLean Browne 4 for 22.

And, Dr Thomas Injectors pricked the softball cricket assets of Bank of SVG All Stars by 81 runs.

Dr Thomas Injectors amassed 194 all out in 20 overs. Bradley Richards made 64, Javon Nero 39, Javar Cain 25 and Rokeem Roberts 20.

Ron Adams 3 for 22, Earl pope 3 for 27, and Newborne Joseph 2 for 35, were All Stars’ most successful bowlers.

All Stars were dismantled for 113 in 17.2 overs. Elton Williams 29, and Roderick John 24, were their main contributors.

Bowling for Dr Thomas Injectors, Romel Jack had 3 for 17 and Brenold Maloney 3 for 23.
